This is for taking commission, the that the CM knew that he would not come back to power Stalin alleged
The state government has revised the norms last year granting powers to zonal engineers to approve tenders over Rs 1 crore and thus they have floated a tender for Rs 3,384 crore.
“The ministers, including the CM and Deputy CM, have been committing irregularities courageously and we gave proof to the Governor and Edappadi Palaniswami sought a ban for the investigation by CBI sleuths through the apex court.
But for the legal hurdle, Palaniswami would have been in the prison currently”, Stalin said.
He expressed confidence that the DMK would form government and people would be free from fear as the party was committed to improve the livelihood of the people and the state would witness rapid industrial development.
Earlier, Stalin addressing a meeting at Pudukkottai said that AIADMK has spoiled Tamil Nadu for the past 10 years.
He said the AIADMK government had not fulfilled the poll promises of 2011 and 2016 and the Chief Minister is known for betraying the people.
DMK alliance partner MDMK President Vaiko has said that he will continue in the alliance of DMK to face the polls to stop the Hindutva onslaught.
This alliance is based on ideology,” he said, while addressing party men at a meeting in Coimbatore on Monday.
Pointing out that MDMK has always been in the forefront in fighting for the cause of the environment, Vaiko said that his party has spearheaded protests against methane and hydrocarbon extraction and the Sterlite.

“The Union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi should abandon nationwide recruitment process.
According to Tamil parties, in the recently announced list of persons called for interview, out of total 1,582 persons, only two persons were from Tamil Nadu.
Not only DMK alliance party but even erstwhile ADMK alliance parties also had condemned BJP government in centre and the recruitment drive of NLC and had demanded the Modi led government to cancel the recruitment process.

DMK major alliance partner TNCC chief targeted ADMK CM Palanisamy
Alagiri told reporters at Sathyamurthy Bhavan that there are irregularities in the scheme, which seem to have been announced for the benefit of AIADMK persons.
Claiming that he (Palaniswami) announced the scheme under Rule 110 in the Assembly after Opposition parties made it an issue, the TNCC chief said the AIADMK regime had disbursed large volumes of loans to their men and offered to waive them.
“Real farm loan waiver should have been done in Delta districts. I sense there is some irregularity in the scheme,” he added.
Alagiri had earlier questioned the practical feasibility of the loan waiver scheme in the debt-ridden state.
Claiming that large scale cultivation happens in Delta districts, where only Rs 1,124 crore has been earmarked for waiver,
TNCC chief took exception to farm loan to the tune of Rs 2,400 crore being earmarked for waiver jointly in Erode and Salem districts and said,
“Many agriculture cooperative societies are under the control of AIADMK.
They have disbursed large amounts of loan in their jurisdiction and announced waiver of the same. I wonder if it’s a farm loan waiver or an AIADMK loan waiver.”
Also he added that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi would undertake a three-day tour of five southern districts from February 27.
