KGF actor Yash has a huge fan following who never fails to show their love and affection for their favourtie actor.
One of the fans crossed all limits of expressing his love for Yash when he committed suicide by setting himself on fire, in front of the actor’s bungalow, on not being able to meet him.
Earlier KGF Yash had decided not to celebrate his 33rd birthday in order to pay a tribute to veteran Kannada actor Ambreesh who passed away. Just like every year, one of his fans – 26-year old Ravi Raghuram, arrived in front of Yash’s house to meet him and get a selfie clicked with him.
Because Yash wasn’t celebrating his birthday this year, the fan couldn’t get to meet him. Reportedly, this made him commit suicide outisde Yash’s bungalow. The securites rushed the fan to the Victoria hospital after he set himself on fire.
As per the reports doing the rounds, by the time he reached the hospital, he had suffered 70% burns and had succumbed to injuries.
Yash visited the hospital and told the media, “He has clicked selfies with me on my birthday (last year). I’m sorry to say but this is not fandom and I don’t believe he can be a fan. I request my fans to never take such drastic steps. A few days before my birthday, I had put out a video saying I am not celebrating my birthday this year. This is very hurtful.”
Talking about Raghuram’s craze for the actor, his father told the mediapersons, “Ravi goes every year to meet Yash. Last year he had taken us to his house as well. This year, we had told him not to go, but he persisted. Do not know where Ravi got the petrol from.”
Such was his craze for the KGF actor that Raghuram was talking about Yash even while breathing his last.
Dr. KT Ramesh said , “When we were dressing his wounds, Ravi asked the doctors whether Yash would come to see him, now that he was struggling between life and death”.
