It is learnt that the declaration of NEET 2021 entrance exam result might get delayed by few more days due to some unavoidable reasons.
It may be recalled that NEET 2021 entrance exam result was held in offline mode across the country on on September 12, 2021.
In a latest twist in cheating cum impersonator scandal in NEET 2021 entrance exam, the Uttar Pradesh Police has found in its probe that at least 25 candidates could be involved in ‘exam solver gang’.
The UP police have sent its report to National Testing Agency (NTA) and has asked the NTA to withhold the results of these 25 candidates.
It is expected that the NEET 2021 entrance exam result declaration could be delayed due to this reason.
Commissioner of Police, Varanasi said that the details of all 25 candidates have been sent by UP police to the NTA.
It may be recalled that earlier the mastermind behind NEET 2011 entrance exam solver gang was unmasked by Varanasi police but the person is currently absconding.
In a related development, a case has also been registered by CBI against a Nagpur-based coaching centre which is accused of sending medical students and experts on behalf of NEET aspirants to solve their papers.
The police is also probing cases of proxy in at least five exam centres in Ranchi and Delhi. An FIR was filed on September 12.
Meanwhile, the NTA is yet to make any official announcement regarding the NEET 2021 entrance exam result result date and time.
Sources said that it is highly unlikely that NTA would release NEET 2021 entrance exam result on Sunday (October 31).
The NTA had released the provisional answer key, response sheets and question paper of NEET 2021 entrance exam on October 15, 2021.
The NTA is yet to release the final answer key of NEET 2021 entrance exam also with NEET entrance result.
After this only NTA would also release the merit list or all India rank (AIR) as per qualifying criteria and other criteria.
