Moscow released Russia’s first death toll since the start of the invasion, saying at least 498 Russian troops have been killed in Ukraine as the Ukrainian civilian death toll climbs to more than 2,000, per the country’s emergency service. 

After a Russian strike on a TV tower, air raid sirens rang in the capital Kyiv on Wednesday. 

According to Ukraine’s military, Russian paratroopers landed in Kharkiv, the country’s second-largest city and, on Wednesday, its mayor said that multiple people were killed and injured overnight.

Some 87 Kharkiv apartment buildings have been damaged, and several parts of Kharkiv no longer have water, electricity or heating, Mayor Ihor Terekhov told Ukrainian TV channels.

Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the Ukrainian interior minister, said that “practically, there are no areas left in Kharkiv where an artillery shell has not yet hit.”

Meanwhile ukraine  President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said ” I praise the approval by the UN GA with an unprecedented majority of votes of the resolution with a strong demand to Russia to immediately stop the treacherous attack on “. 

Also he added “I’m grateful to everyone & every state that voted in favor. You have chosen the right side of history Destructive results of the vote in  for the aggressor convincingly show that a global anti-Putin coalition has been formed and is functioning”

He also sound optimist and has said ” The world is with us. The truth is on our side. Victory will be ours
