BJP long term allaince partner in Bihar broken their ranks .

Pashupati Kumar Paras, brother of the late Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) founder Ram Vilas Paswan, was on Monday recognised as the party’s floor leader in Lok Sabha, removing Chirag Paswan from the position.

The swiftness the manner Pashupati Paras replaces Chirag Paswan as leader of LJP Parliamentary party in Lok Sabha shocks Chirag camp .
With in 24 hours Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Monday approved the recognition of Pashupati Paras as the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) floor leader in the Lok Sabha.

Five of the LJP’s six MPs had met Speaker Om Birla on Sunday and submitted him a written request for appointing Pashupati Paras, removing Chirag Paswan from the position.

Immediately then the Lok Sabha Secretariat Monday issued a revised list of floor leaders of parties in a notification in which Pashupati Paras was listed as the leader of LJP.

The LJP witnessed a massive setback on Monday after five out of its six MPs in the Lok Sabha revolted against party chief Chirag Paswan.

The rebellion was led by Pashupati Paras, Hajipur MP and the younger brother of late LJP founder Ram Vilas Paswan.

Four LJP MPs Chandan Singh, Veena Devi, Mehboob Ali Kaiser and Prince Raj backed Paras as the leader of party’s parliamentary board, leaving party national president Chirag Paswan isolated. Paras was then unanimously elected as the LJP Parliamentary leader in Lok Sabha.

The five rebelling MPs wrote to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to recognise the same.

While five of LJP’s six MPs revolted against Chirag Paswan and reportedly approached Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla seeking a separate recognition, Pashupati Paras, however, played down the ‘rebellion’ saying they were not against Chirag.

According to BJP and JDU  sources, Paras will soon stake claim for the post of party president.

He has already started contacting members of the LJP’s national executive to rally support.

Sources also said that Paras, along with four other MPs, will go to Patna on Tuesday.

A meeting of the LJP’s national executive will likely be called in the city in the coming two-three days, where the rebel leader may replace Chirag Paswan as party president.

In his media interaction, Pashupati Paras said, “There are six MPs in our party. It was the desire of five MPs to save our party.

So, I have not split the party, I have saved it. Chirag Paswan is my nephew as well as party’s national president. I have no objections to him.”

Pashupati Paras significantly also said, “I am with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Nitish Kumar is a good leader and Vikas Purush (development man).”

It should be noted recently diffrence of opinion popped up between Chirag the son of Ramvilas paswan and ruling establishments in Bihar .

It should be noted Chirag inherited the conflict from his late father Ram Vilas Paswan in 2009,

Where current Cheif Minstier Nitish created a Mahadalit section among Dalits, in which he included 21 of the 22 sub-castes but left out the Paswans.

Since then, there has been an element of distrust between the LJP and the JD(U), despite spells as allies.

Since the 2020 polls, the JD(U) has gone all out to humiliate Chirag and following it up Bihar assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha of the BJP notified that the lone LJP MLA Raj Kumar Singh is now a JD(U) MLA.
