Oil marketing companies continued to increase the prices of petrol and diesel 
 

This marks the ninth hike in fuel rates in past 10 days. Continue the hike trend

Petrol price in Delhi was hiked by 15 paise to Rs 82.49 per litre while diesel prices were increased by 23 paise to Rs 72.65 per litre, according to notifications from Indian Oil Corporation.
In Delhi, the price of petrol was revised to Rs 82.34 per litre from ₹ 82.13 with effect from 6 am November 29, and that of diesel to ₹ 72.42 per litre from 72.13 per litre, according to notifications from Indian Oil Corporation.
 
Similarly, in Mumbai, petrol and diesel rates were raised to ₹ 89.16 per litre and ₹ 79.22 per litre, from ₹ 89.02 per litre and ₹ 78.97 per litre respectively.

Since November 20, oil marketing companies Indian Oil, Hindustan Petroleum and Bharat Petroleum have raised domestic fuel prices on nine occasions, following a two-week hiatus.
 
In Delhi, petrol rates have been raised by ₹ 1.43 per litre and diesel by ₹ 2.19 during this period.
 
The three state-run companies currently review the domestic petrol and diesel rates on a daily basis, and implement any changes to align them with global benchmarks with effect from 6 am.
