Kooy wood actress Riyamikka Aged 26 desired to make it big in the Tamil film industry.
But in the end the actress committed suicide at her residence in Valasaravakkam, Chennai. According to reports, she hanged herself to death on November 29.
Hailing from Erode, Riyamikka was apparently living with her cousin brother Prakash in Chennai. A complaint has been filed with the Chennai police, who are investigating the case at present.
Riyamikka has acted in a handful of films including Kumaranukku Kondattam, Aghoriyin Aattam and XVideos.
Police officials, in an interview to a Tamil magazine, said, “Riyamikka was in love with a guy called Dinesh. She was in depression for a few months as she didn’t have any film offers in hand. One night, she called Dinesh as she was feeling low. But Dinesh said that he’d drop by her house in the morning as it was too late.
Meanwhile, Riyamikka and Prakash had a fallout after which she went to sleep. The next morning, she woke up and then went back to sleep. Dinesh had come home and he was cooking lunch with Prakash. It is then that Riyamikka hanged herself.”
The police are now going through video and audio clips from her phone to see if they can find out the reason behind her decision.
