Indian Army soldier who came to his hme town during his holiday was lynched in Tamil Nadu’s Krishnagiri district after he had an personal altercation with a DMK councillor over a family feud . The police have arrested 9 people, including the DMK coucillor .
DML Councillor, identified as 50-year-old Chinnasamy, fought with 33-year-old Prabhu, an Army soldier , and his brother Prabhakaran over washing clothes at a water tank near the victim’s house. The argument escalated to a point where the accused attacked the Jawan and his brother with nine accompalices.
The Soldier succumbed to his injuries received during the brawl. The brother also sustained injuries. Prabhu died in a hospital on Tuesday. He was under treatment.
After deceased family member Prabhakaran lodged a complaint, the police arrested the main accused and nine others, including the DMK councillor’s son Rajapandi.
The Bharatiya Janata Party leader Annamalai citing patriotism has announced a protest against the ruling DMK over the incident. The local ADMK opposition party functionaries collected ground report data and found details about family feud and send it to their high command
Tamilnadu Police SP Sarojkumar incharge of that region has said on investigation it is found that Family feud between both groups lead to clash and warns action against gossip mongers in social media and hatred spreaders against this case.
