The Bombay High Court on Wednesday granted conditional bail of Rs 1 lakh to Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty.

Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde welcomed Bombay High Court’s judgement.

“We are delighted by the order of the Hon’ble Bombay High Court granting bail to Rhea Chakraborty .

Truth and justice have prevailed and ultimately the submissions on facts and law have been accepted by Justice Sarang V Kotwal,” he said.
“The arrest and custody of Rhea was totally unwarranted and beyond the reach of law .

The hounding and witch hunt by three central agencies .. the CBI , ED and NCB of Rhea should come to and end . We remain committed to truth. Satya Meva Jayate,” he added.

Justice S.V. Kotwal, who had completed the hearing in her bail application last week and kept his ruling in reserve, pronounced the order.

The HC, however, rejected the bail plea of her brother Showik Chakraborty, who is also an accused in the case.

The duo was arrested last month by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with its drugs probe related to the case of Rajput’s death.

Rajput, 34, was found hanging at his apartment in suburban Bandra on June 14 this year.

After CBI has taken over from Maharastra Police in line with CBI investigation , centre government nodal agency AIIMS has also done inquiry and said Sushant death is resultant of suicide only .

Now both CBI and AIIMS has concluded the stand of Maharastra police conclusions that comes as a huge victory of process of investigation of Maharastra police and its other government agencies
