Thursday night, Maharashtra ATS and Maharashtra State Police arrested Vaibhav Raut  who was trying to build a conspiracy to plant bomb blast across India  .

Along with Raut, the police had also arrested Sharad Kalaskar, Sudhanva Gondhalekar. During the interrogation, it was revealed that they were planning to conduct blasts in Pune, Satara, and Solapur along with the Nala Sopara.

During the investigation, the Police teams recovered 20 make in india  bombs and 50 elements to make the bombs. Amongst the three, two of them are members of Hindu organisation, Jan Jagruti Samiti while the third belonged to Shiv Pratisthan.

The special ATS court then  sentenced the three to be kept in police custody till August 18.

The ATS had received the information about a group planning to conduct blats across the state on August 7, and the police happened to retrieve the phone numbers of five suspects.

After tracking them, the ATS reached Vaibhav Raut in Nala Sopara. While Vaibhav is said to be a member of the Sanatan organisation, but the Hindu organisation denied of him being associated with them.

Later, Vaibhav revealed the names of Kalaskar and Gondhalekar during the investigation. On Thursday, along with 20 bombs and 50 parts of the bomb, the outline and manual of preparing the bomb were found. The police have also arrested 15 to 16 suspects for interrogation.

The police suspect that the arrested people are new to the conspiracy and there is a second mastermind behind the crime. These accused also will be investigated for the murder of Gauri Lankesh, Pansare, and Dabholkar, as per the government lawyer.
