The health  condition  of  Goa BJP CM is deteriorating  as Parrikar  has been hospitalised again within a week after he returned from US post-treatment there. He is under treatment in a private hospital in Condolim in Goa. 

A source in the party has said that Parrikar has offered to step down from CM’s post. 

However, the party high command it is attributed  to known source  is not sure about his successor. Parrikar met members of Goa BJP core committee in the hospital today.

In a move towards  to access the group situation BJP is sending its observers to Goa on Saturday to assess whether the ailing Goa CM Manohar Parrikar could be replaced.

Also BJP core committee held a meeting at Mapusa before calling on Parrikar. Meanwhile, Sardesai has claimed that Parrikar was doing well and that he had gone to wish him on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Sardesai ruled out that there were any talks about leadership change with Parrikar.

Speculations over MGP’s merger with the BJP are rife as well. While Dhavalikar has reportedly shown interest in the merger, General Secretary of the party Lavu Mamlatdar has ruled out the possibility that upsets BJP calculation  in the  forthcoming 2019 Loksabha 

It is important  to note that the congress  allege 36000 crores rafalescam has taken place  during the tenure of Parrikar in Defence  Ministry  

Parrikar was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday. He went home to pray to Lord Ganesha on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi with his elder son Utpal.  But due to health issues he  returned to the hospital again this morning.

Opposition  parties  in Goa allege the government machinery has come to stand still for the past 4 months
