Avengers Endgame was undoubtedly one of the most-awaited films of all time, and the movie has bore its fruits. The MCU film, which has been appreciated worldwide, has also gone on to become the second highest overseas earner of all time.
 
Avengers: Endgame has been creating magic around India and China since a long time. It is the highest opening Bollywood film in India and is set to cross Rs. 100 crore mark here.
 
The movie earned $282 million overseas till Saturday. The movie has thus crossed the benchmark set by Avengers: Infinity War ($2.048 billion), Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($2.068 billion) and Titanic ($1.528 billion, counting the reissues), reports Forbes.
 
Avengers: Endgame however still faces tough competition from Avatar, which minted $2.0275 billion overseas. The Marvel film thus needs to make $458.5 million more in order to cross the mark of Avatar and become the highest overseas earner of all time.
 
The major collection of this film came from China. It earned $576 million in the country, followed by India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand (western), Egypt, Ethiopia, Middle East (as a whole), Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, UAE, Turkey (western), Mexico, Colombia, Central America and Paraguay.
 
The movie, whose core was in America, surprisingly has earned just 28% of its global collections from North America.
 
Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Bradley Cooper and Josh Brolin in the lead roles. The movie is directed by Russo Brothers – Anthony Russo and Joe Russo while it’s produced by Kevin Feige of Marvel Studios.
