Trouble mounted for veteran actor Nana Patekar after the Mumbai police on Thursday registered an FIR against him following charges of harassment, indecency and obscenity levelled by model-actress Tanushree Dutta.
The incident dates back a decade ago during the shooting of ‘Horn OK Pleasss’, at Filmistan Studios at Goregaon of Mumbai.
The FIR was registered at Oshiwara police station after recording the statement of Tanushree.
Others who have been named in the FIR are choreographer Ganesh Acharya, director Rakesh Sarang and producer Samee Siddiqui. No arrests have been made so far.
It is important to note asserting that demonetisation will not only hit terrorism and unrest, but also put an end to fake currency in circulation, actor Nana Patekar at the time of demonetisation praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s move and urged common man to bear the inconvenience for some time.
“Demonetisation is a good step. Due to demonetisation, terrorism will get a hit,” Patekar told reporters during Nov 2016 .
