Hours after another photograph of Jacqueline Fernandez and conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar went viral on social media, the actress issued a statement.

Earlier today, January 8, a cosy photograph of Jacqueline Fernandez and conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar went viral on social media.

Hours after that, the Bhoot Police actress took to her Instagram account to issue a statement, for the first time since her name was dragged in the Rs 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

In her post, Jacqueline said that she hopes “justice and good sense prevails”.

Several photographs of Sukesh and Jacqueline have been doing the rounds on social media ever since the actress’s name came up in the Rs 200 crore extortion case.

Earlier today, another leaked photograph of the two, where Sukesh was seen kissing Jacqueline on the nose, went viral.

Hours after that, Jacqueline took to Instagram to issue a statement. The actress did not caption the post and also restricted comments on the post.

The text photograph read, “This country and its people have given me tremendous love and respect. This includes my friends from the media, from whom I have learned a lot. I’m currently going through a rough patch but I’m sure that my friends and my fans will see me through. It is with this trust that I would request my media friends to not circulate images of a nature that intrude my privacy and personal space. You would not do this to your own loved ones, am sure you would not do this to me either. Hoping that justice and good sense prevails. Thank you (sic). She signed off with a folded-hand emoji.

Earlier in the day, an intimate photo of Jacqueline and conman Sukesh went viral on the internet. Jacqueline could be seen flaunting her hickey in the photograph, while Sukesh planted a kiss on her nose.

This isn’t the first time photos of the two have gone viral. In December 2021, two other pics were also circulated on social media.

The intimate photos started doing the rounds months after Sukesh said that he was dating the Bhoot Police actress.

Jacqueline Fernandez was recently questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the Rs 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

Sukesh allegedly promised Jacqueline a role in a big-ticket Hollywood production too to lure her.

Sukesh had also allegedly gifted her many luxury items from popular brands like Gucci, Hermes, Louis Vuitton and a Mini Cooper.

Reportedly, Sukesh was in touch with many other actresses as well. An insider told IndiaToday.in exclusively that Sukesh was sending random gifts and hampers to a lot of Bollywood actresses under different initials and names because he was easily smitten by the looks of Bollywood actresses.

Before Jacqueline, he tried the same stunt with a few others but none of these big A-list actresses fell for it or even entertained these lavish gifts.

Earlier Sukesh Chandrashekhar was arrested last year in the Rs 200 crore extortion case.
