Virat Kohli on Wednesday became the fastest cricketer to reach 10,000 runs in one-day internationals during the second match of the series against the Windies at Vizag.
Kohli reached the milestone in 205 innings and thus broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record. Tendulkar had taken 259 innings to reach the feat. Kohli became only the 4th Indian and 13th batsman overall to achieve this feat.
The Indian captain also holds the record for the fastest to 8000 and 9000 ODI runs.
