The makers of superstar Rajinikanth’s 165th film unveiled the title and first motion poster on Friday evening
The vibrant motion poster features a stylish Rajini entering a church with a candle stand as a weapon of choice. The veteran looks handsome in a muffler, jacket, reflectors and stubble.
This is the first time when Sethupathi, Siddiqui, Simran, Trisha, Subbaraj and Ravichander will be sharing screen space with Rajinikanth.
The film also marks Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Tamil debut.The actor will reportedly essay the role of Rajinikanth’s arch rival in the film.
The Karthik Subbaraj directorial has been titled ‘Petta’. Until today, the film was being referred to as ‘Thalaivar165’. This film is produced by SUN TV chairman Kalanithi maran
