Union Home Minister Amit Shah was re-admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on Saturday night.
He was admitted in the Cardio Neuro tower of the hospital around 11 pm.
Sources said he has been experiencing breathing issues post his recovery from Covid-19. “It has been thought best he stay in the hospital where he can be constantly monitored,” said a source at AIIMS.
This Ist the third time he is admitted to the hospital with in a span of 8 weeks
Amit Shah tested positive for the novel coronavirus on August 2 and was admitted to Medanta hospital in Gurugram. After recovering, he tested negative on August 14 and was in home isolation.
He was admitted to AIIMS again on August 18 for post-Covid care as he complained of body aches and fatigue.
Amit Shah was again discharged from AIIMS on August 31 after undergoing an extended post-Covid treatment.
