Dhoni retired from Tests a few years ago, choosing to concentrate only on white-ball cricket. But now his  ommission from India’s T20 squad by BCCI compelled many to suggest that the legend might not make it to the 2019 ICC World Cup.

The Board Of Control for Cricket in India released the squads late on Friday and fans immediately took to social media to voice their disapproval.

This was probably the best year of Dhoni in T20 cricket. It was this year only, he looked the most dangerous T20 player and he’s out of team. Let’s see what others can do what he didn’t.#Dhoni #INDvsWI
