Actor Vijay has choosen a novel way and On June 5, Vijay silently took off to Tuticorin in the wee hours to meet the victims and their family who suffered during the Tuticorin massacre.
His ardent fan, who accompanied Vijay to Tuticorin revealed some exclusive details about this visit.
The source close to vijay said, "Vijay was extremely disturbed and wanted to do something for those protestors. So, he decided to visit them in person and help them in whatever way possible. We met 10 victims and their families and to some homes, he couldn't travel in a car. Vijay was gracious enough to take the two-wheeler and met them without making any fuss."
"Vijay sir knocked the door and introduced himself before offering his deepest condolences to their families. He also apologised to them for disturbing them in the wee hours of the night. He then donated Rs 1 lakh to the families and prayed for their well-being," the source added.
Within a few hours, photos and videos of Vijay visiting the victims went viral on social media. His fans are upbeat about Vijay's noble gesture without making any prior announcement. Clearly, the actor didn't want to gain attention and wanted to offer his helping hand to the gunfire victims.
