GST roll out hit consumers of white goods and prices are likely to go up from 4% and up to 20% . Reasons of Price rise been attributed :

* Prices of key raw materials such as steel, copper and plastic Aluminium have been rising
* TV-Panels got dearer by 3%, compressors for ACs & fridges by up to 4%

"We expect prices of TVs, refrigerators and microwave ovens to go up by 3-4 per cent due to the GST," said Manish Gupta, chief financial officer, Panasonic India.
