Donald Trump, in a tweet, slammed previous US governments for supporting Pakistan monetarily and then came down heavily on Pakistan saying the country gave America nothing but lies and deceit.

Trump claims that the United States of America 'foolishly' gave more than 33 billion dollars to Pakistan in aid and said that in return, Pakistan considered American leaders fools.

The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!

Last August, the Trump administration notified Congress that it was putting 255 million dollar in military assistance to Pakistan into the equivalent of an escrow account that Islamabad can only access if it does more to crack down on internal terror networks launching attacks on neigh-boring Afghanistan, a New York Times report report said.

The report also said that the US provided more than 33 billion dollars in aid to Pakistan since 2002 but the funding declined over the years as Pakistan's quiet support for the Haqqani network and the Taliban continued.

Donald Trump's tweet comes hours after Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD) Chief Hafiz Saeed invited all Islamic states to launch 'Jihad' against the United States of America and Israel.

Saeed, a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) co-founder, was addressing JuD activists at an event 'Tahafuz Baitul Muqaddas' at Lahore's Istanbul Chowk. The event was conducted in the wake of the US President Donald Trump-led administration unilaterally identifying and declaring Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Here is what Hafiz Saeed said - "The day Jerusalem (Bait-ul-Muqaddas) becomes the capital of Israel, a caravan of 'Jihad' will be launched. Pakistan's army chief General (Qamar Javed) Bajwa, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and all leaders of the political parties need to unite. Pakistan's atomic bomb is the asset of 'Islam', which should be used to free Jerusalem. This is my open announcement."

Saeed also said, "We should organise an Islamic conference to be attended by chiefs of the Islamic states to declare 'Jihad'. The influence of the ISIS will weaken and the conspiracy of the United States against Islam and holy war (Jihad) will come to an end."
