During may 9th when clash broke out between two hindu caste communities and two FIRs were registered against 12 persons and over 300 unnamed people in connection with two incidents of violence in Janakpuri, UP police said.
But yesterday again violence broke out in fresh clashes between members of the Thakur community and Dalits at Chandrapur, Shabbirpur and Badagon villages of the communally sensitive Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, officials said.
According to reports, unidentified miscreants from thakur community , who were hiding in a roadside mango orchard, attacked Dalits with lathis and sharp weapons at two different places near Chandpura village.
In another attack near the same village, a Dalit was shot from close range and he succumbed to injuries during treatment at the district hospital.
